This is confirmation that, as your wedding celebrant, I am committed to write and deliver your Wedding Ceremony on __________________________________
As the client, you have agreed to pay the non refundable deposit *(or holding fee) of £_________and the remaining balance of £__________ (inclusive of travel expenses) at least 30 days prior to the wedding day.
Overall payment secures the following:
• Initial consultation in the client’s chosen format of either face to face or by telephone/email.
• Writing the first script based on initial meeting and the questionnaire.
• Multiple Script Review Service (reasonably defined as up to 10 reviews)
• Presentation of the Wedding script upon completion of ceremony and within a reasonable amount of time.
• Presentation of the Wedding blessing certificate upon completion of ceremony and within a reasonable amount of time.
Complimentary Services:
• Ritual exploration and ideas
• Help with writing wedding vows
• Regular email and telephone contact throughout build up to ceremony day
When the questionnaires have been returned along with the deposit, I will adhere to the following time scales:
First Draft: Within 6 weeks of receiving the questionnaire
Second Draft: Within 2 weeks of receiving your amendments
The draft will be completed and printed one month prior to your wedding day.
When the deposit has been made, I will not take any other bookings for that date, unless you cancel your booking.
In the event of cancellation by the client:
The clients deposit is non-refundable, however the client may need to pay some of the balance to compensate the booking of the day.
Up to 3 months before: the client does not need to pay any of the remaining balance of the booking
Up to 2 months before: 50% of the full balance must be paid as a cancellation charge to compensate
Up to 1 month before: Full balance must be paid as a cancellation charge to compensate.
In the event of cancellation by the celebrant:
In the rare occasion that I cannot attend the ceremony, due to extenuating circumstances, I will personally find another qualified and respected celebrant to deliver the ceremony, passing on all of your requirements.
